Here at Des Moines Ballroom, we pride ourselves in working with the entire dance community to help grow and support each other so that more people can have the opportunity of learning to dance.

In our efforts to grow the dance community, we host events throughout the year and travel to events in other cities as well.

 Virginia State Dancesport Championships

This will be our first time attending this event wa-a-a-ay out in Virginia. It is hosted by a great judge and friend, Rosendo Fumera. This event promises to be large and highly competitive so we would love to get your support, wishes, thoughts, and emails. :).

Who knew that competing in something could be so fun?

Join the the staff of Des Moines ballroom and Cannon Studios in their annual journey to Kansas City to dance against some of the best dancers in the mid-west.This is an event for all ages and for all dance skills so grab your shoes and come along!!.

Friday Nights 8-10 pm

Public Social Dance - Practice

Every Friday evening at the Des Moines Ballroom, we turn the lights down, let the music play, and just dance. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know the other dancers in the area as well as the instructors, ask them questions, and to practice your moves, new or old.

$3/ea every Friday night.
